Terms and conditions

Article 1 – Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer from OSTVEL and to every distance contract concluded through this online store between OSTVEL and the customer. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. The text of these terms is always available on this website.

Article 3 – The offer

Our offer contains as complete and accurate a description of the products as possible. Images are a true representation, but small differences in colour or finish are possible, for example due to screen settings. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer are not binding on us. All offers are valid while stocks last.

Article 4 – The contract

The contract is concluded at the moment you accept the offer by placing and paying for your order. We confirm receipt of your order by email. Within the legal framework, we may refuse or cancel an order, for example in the event of insufficient stock or suspected misuse; any amount already paid will then be refunded in full.

Article 5 – Prices

Prices are shown and charged in the currency of your market (EUR, USD or GBP), as displayed at checkout, and include VAT. Any shipping costs are clearly stated before the order is completed. We reserve the right to change prices; the price that applied at the time of ordering remains applicable to your order.

Article 6 – Payment

Payment is made using the payment methods offered at checkout. Your order is processed once payment has been received.

Article 7 – Delivery

We deliver to the address you provided with your order. For more information about delivery, see our shipping policy. The risk of damage to and/or loss of products remains with OSTVEL until the moment of delivery to you.

Article 8 – Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product without giving any reason. The conditions and the model withdrawal form can be found in our return policy.

Article 9 – Conformity and warranty

We guarantee that the products comply with the contract, the specifications stated in the offer and the reasonable requirements of soundness and usability. Your statutory rights always remain in effect. You can report defects at info@ostvel.com.

Article 10 – Complaints

Complaints about the performance of the contract must be submitted, fully and clearly described, within a reasonable time after you discover the defects, via info@ostvel.com. We will respond as quickly as possible and within 14 days at the latest. If we cannot resolve it together, you can also submit your dispute through the European ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 11 – Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned, except in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness, or insofar as mandatory law provides otherwise.

Article 12 – Intellectual property

All content on this website, including texts, images, logos and the OSTVEL brand, is protected. It may not be used without our prior written permission.

We handle your personal data with care. Read more about this in our privacy policy.

Article 14 – Changes

We may change these terms. The terms that applied at the time of ordering apply to your order.

Article 15 – Applicable law

These terms and all contracts with OSTVEL are governed by Dutch law. This does not affect the protection you enjoy as a consumer under the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
